A dead battery is apparent - you get into your vehicle and realize that it won’t start. You hear the ignition click, but it won’t start up. A typically car battery lasts between 3-4 years, depending on your vehicle and other factors. However, leaving an electrical component on for an extended period of time, like the lights or radio, can cause your battery to die prematurely.  A car battery can die due to a number of different reasons, whether from the battery itself or the charging and starting system. How Often Should I Change My Windshield Wipers?

When it comes to our windshield wipers, the average car owner isn’t usually sure how often they need to be replaced. In reality, our windshield wipers need to be replaced pretty often, ranging from every 6 months to a year. Our windshield wipers have an important job in all types of weather conditions, including rain, snow, and dry weather. Even when the weather is warm and sunny, windshield wipers are often needed to clean our windshield for clear visibility.  In Texas, our weather is often extreme in the summer, getting very hot and dry. The heat of the summer will actually cause windshield wipers to dry out and become cracked. Then once the fall season rolls around, your windshield wipers are not very effective and will need to be changed.
